Alabama Power

Alabama Power, one of the state’s largest employers and economic development partners, has teamed up with Kinetic for multiple projects over the years — interactive website development, consulting engagements, multimedia presentations and more.

Kinetic’s latest work for Alabama Power involved a responsive website for their Greener State program — an initiative that offers renewable energy plans to Alabama Power customers. By purchasing Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), customers can cover their electric usage with green energy, thus becoming an official supporter of green energy in Alabama.

We are also glad to provide ongoing support for the Power of Good website, an initiative of the Alabama Power Foundation. Kinetic maintains and assists with the creation of numerous online grant application forms throughout the Power of Good site, including Power to Play, an annual athletics and arts grant program for high schools across Alabama.

Kinetic also helped build a responsive website for the inaugural Alabama NewsCenter. The NewsCenter site allows for Alabama Power to highlight stories around the state that touch their customers. In yet another project, to celebrate a century in business and commemorate the milestones along the way, Kinetic showcased Alabama Power’s proud history in a Flash-based walk down memory lane, reminiscent of a history museum exhibit.
